  • Mars simulation
  • methanogenic communities in permafrost, wetlands and soils of Arctic and Antarctic regions
  • Mechanisms of adaptation to extreme environments (permafrost, fens/bogs, hypersaline environments, hydrotemal vents, hot springs, etc).
